Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance

By using ev.care you agree to these terms. ev.care is operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Service & repair

ev.care connects EV owners with independently-certified technicians for on-site and workshop repairs. ev.care is not the service provider — technicians are independent professionals verified through the DIYguru certification programme. Service quality, timelines, and pricing are confirmed directly between you and the assigned technician via the platform.

3. Site-visit fee

A site-visit fee is disclosed before dispatch. If the repair is completed during the visit, the fee is fully deducted from the final invoice. If the repair cannot be completed (parts unavailable, customer declines the quote), the site-visit fee is retained.

4. Marketplace

The ev.care marketplace connects buyers with suppliers of EV vehicles, battery packs, BMS, motor controllers, chargers, and related components. All listings must carry accurate engineering specifications. Compliance tags (ARAI, BIS, AIS-156, FAME-II) must be backed by verifiable documentation.

5. Escrow and spec-match guarantee

When a buyer awards a bid and pays, funds are held via Razorpay with manual capture. Funds are released only when the buyer confirms that the delivered product matches the stated spec sheet. If the buyer opens a spec-match dispute, funds remain frozen until an ev.care administrator resolves the dispute by releasing or refunding.

6. Payments

All payments are processed by Razorpay. ev.care does not store card details. By making a payment you agree to Razorpay's terms of service. GST invoices are provided for all transactions.

7. Supplier obligations

Suppliers must: maintain accurate listings with real spec sheets, respond to RFQs within 48 hours, ship products that match the stated specifications, and maintain valid GSTIN and compliance certifications. Listing false compliance claims will result in immediate account suspension.

8. Limitation of liability

ev.care is a marketplace and service coordination platform. We are not liable for: defects in products sourced through the marketplace, quality of service provided by independent technicians, delays caused by parts unavailability, or losses arising from payment processing failures. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
