Is my frozen touchscreen a hardware failure?
Usually not. Most touchscreen freezes, reboots and lag are firmware bugs, memory leaks or a screen that needs a force-restart — fixed by a reset, an OTA update, or a free dealer flash. We confirm software vs hardware before anyone pays for a repair.
My connected-car app says the car is offline — why?
Often it's the network, not the car. Connected features rely on an embedded SIM talking to a mobile network, so basements and patchy-coverage areas routinely show 'disconnected' with nothing broken. We verify the SIM, antenna and account before assuming a fault.
Can you fix a failed OTA update?
Yes. A half-applied update can leave the system in a worse state. Depending on the car we recover it or arrange a clean re-flash, and advise when it's a warranty/dealer job.
Do you replace infotainment screens and clusters?
When it genuinely is hardware — a faulty screen, head-unit board or cluster — yes, repaired or replaced where viable, with indicative pricing after diagnosis.
