1. Information we collect

When you use ev.care we collect the information you provide directly (name, phone, email, vehicle details, address, service request descriptions, uploaded photos) and automatically-generated data (device type, IP address, browser, pages viewed, referral source).

2. How we use your information

We use your data to: process service requests and dispatch technicians, match you with marketplace suppliers, generate invoices and process payments via Razorpay, send transactional notifications (WhatsApp, email), improve our service through analytics, and comply with legal obligations (GST, FAME-II claims).

3. Information sharing

We share your data only with: assigned technicians (your name, phone, address, vehicle, and issue description), marketplace suppliers (only when you post an RFQ or award a bid), payment processors (Razorpay), notification providers (Gupshup for WhatsApp, Resend for email), and analytics providers. We never sell your personal data.

4. Data retention

Service request data and invoices are retained for 7 years per Indian tax and GST requirements. Account data is retained until you request deletion. Analytics data is anonymised after 90 days.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@ev.care. We respond within 30 business days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256 via Supabase). Payment data is processed by Razorpay and never stored on our servers. Access to customer data is role-gated and audit-logged.
