How to actually measure SOH on a used EV

  1. The range-at-100% method (free, rough). Ask the seller to have the car charged to 100% before you arrive. Battery aside, an EV still has a body, brakes, electronics and a charging system that all need checking. Inspect the car in broad daylight, never under showroom lights or at night, and work through these systematically.

Battery and thermal system
