10,000 km service
Second scheduled service with deeper diagnostics.
The 10,000 km service is the most-skipped EV maintenance milestone, because EV drivers assume 'no oil change = no service needed.' Not quite. At 10k km we rotate tyres (heavy regen wears front tyres faster), top up brake fluid (it absorbs water even when unused), test the 12V auxiliary battery (the #1 cause of EVs that 'won't start'), inspect suspension bushings, check coolant level in the battery thermal loop, and run an OBD scan to clear stored codes.
What's included
- 40-point inspection
- BMS audit
- Brake fluid moisture test
- Tyre alignment check
- Coolant level (if applicable)
- OBD scan
Why this matters
Three of the most common 'my EV won't start' calls are caused by missed 10k services — dead 12V battery (year 2), tyre imbalance from no rotation (year 1.5), and brake-fluid moisture causing soft pedal (year 2-3). Each costs ₹999 to prevent and ₹5,000-15,000 to fix once it's an actual breakdown.
How it works
- 1
12V battery load test + charge state.
- 2
Tyre rotation, pressure check, wear inspection.
- 3
Brake fluid moisture content test (refractometer).
- 4
Battery thermal-loop coolant level.
- 5
Suspension bushing visual inspection.
- 6
OBD multi-module scan + code clear.
- 7
Cabin AC filter inspection (replacement quoted separately if dirty).
What to expect
Allow 2 hours. You get a printed checklist with all measurements (not just pass/fail) so you can track trends visit-over-visit. Any flagged items are quoted separately — never bundled in without consent.
What we typically find
From hundreds of inspections — what makes the report.
- 12V battery showing first signs of weakening (year 2 cars)
- Front tyres wearing 20-30% faster than rear (regen pattern)
- Brake fluid moisture above 2% (above 3% is replace-now territory)
- Cabin filter clogged with PM2.5 particulates (very common in Delhi/Bombay)
How to prepare
- Bring vehicle with at least 50% SoC
- Note any new noises, warning lights, or driving-feel changes
- If you've added accessories (roof racks, alloy wheels) mention them
Equipment we use
- Hioki 12V battery analyzer
- Brake-fluid refractometer
- Tyre tread-depth gauge + pressure pump
- EV-aware OBD scanner
Certifications
- FAME-II workshop-listed
- Manufacturer-approved fluids only

What customers say
“Caught a weakening 12V battery before it left me stranded. ₹1,999 well spent.”
“Detailed checklist with actual numbers — not just ticks. I can see brake fluid moisture climbing year over year.”
